Make Gadgets disappear after obtaining

Hi @all,

I have a problem and hopefully you hold the solution. I have a Gadget for Coins which disappears if you collect it. When I leave the canvas and return to it the coin is back on its place....but i want it to be gone.... since i want many coins to be obtained but to allow backtracking i don't want someone to be able to farm money endlessly. And Creating a Switch for every single coin is not the best work around I came up with. Any Ideas?

Page 1:

- no conditions

- give player item "coin" or whatever way you use the coins

- activate selfswitch

- coin image

-> Trigger: Player Touch, Below Player

Page 2:

-> Condition: Selfswitch active

- no image

Hmm, let me think this one out. Without switches or a way to identify the item as unique to be stored as removed or not that will take some thinking. I don't think you can get out of it unfortunately, but  I will see what I can do.

I had an Idea...If you go from Canvas A to B the Link on B won't b e able to be entered. Instead there is Link C Leading to Canvas C which will be exactly like Canvas A but wihtout a Coin. The Problem here is that I would need to double every Canvas and if you missed coins and try to recollect them they will be gone...Another Idea is that I hide the Coins so far away on annoying parts so that farming wouldnt be to easy and took too long.... Or it could be a drop from enemys with a low apply ratio...It's really a good engine but that something this simple doesnt seem to work...But thanks, Let me know if you have any Idea. And if you have a Demo of your IGM game I'd like to try that out :)

Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
Do you Find Tilesetting or Looking for Tilesets/Plugins more fun? Personally I like making my tileset for my Game (Cretaceous Park TM) xD
