Making a flashlight

Hi, so Im new to rpg maker, but have lots of ideas Id like to try out.


One idea is for my characters to have to use a flashlight in the dungeons to see enemies. Im sure some people have done this, so I'm curious how I would do it.

Take a look at Khas - Awesome Lighting, or CC Simple Lighting.

How do you want the flashlight to be used to see enemies? Are you just planning on having a dark dungeon where you can't see anything anyways? Do you want the monsters to be invisible until a light is shined on them? Does the flashlight play any importance in anything else? You might need more than just a lighting script.
