Making a permanent quake effect?

Hi! In one part of my game there has to be quake effects in a bunch of maps, the player goes through them one after another, and the screen has to be shaking the whole time during that part. I already tried some methods but when the quake part comes, the game just freezes, any help? ( The quake effect has to be removed when the player passes all the maps) Thanks in advance

Are you using a parrallel event to repeat the quake motion? If an autorun one does it then it will keep shaking and stop everything else until it is done which I assume is never? Use a parallel event - add command to shake screen, then maybe a slight wait command and then another shake screen but change the pace a bit. The event will loop this action until you tell it not too by using a second page self switch or another outside switch like "level done" for example. on each page of this earthquake zone make sure the event is there to continue the action when you transfer to a new map. ADDITION - You should make the parallel "shake" page clicked on by a switch so it doesn't just start up before you have a chance for dialog or explanation. One idea is page 1 an autorun with cutscene explanation, goes to page 2 "via self switch A" which starts the quake and then when you are done - goes to page 3 (via self switch b) which turns the action off.

Thank you for your response but I already find a way to do it (and a more simple way than the ones I was trying lol). I put a quake effect in page 1, then self switch A, then in page 2 another quake effect, turn self switch off and repeat!

Hello! I would like to know if there are any pluggings or any way to customize how battles look?
I was thinking that when you start the battle for it to appear the eyes of your characters and opponents sorta like Ace Attorney.
