Hello guys,

First off, this is my first post on these forums, and any forum in general. So if i've already broken a rule, excuse my ignorance.

Apologies to anyone if i've annoyed them!

I'd like to compliment everyone on their resourcefulness, to a NEWB like me, it's awesome! :)

SO, I'm trying to make an "event", where you talk to someone, and they disappear after the text has finished.

Example: I've got an Orc walking around, and when you talk to him it triggers a battle. How do I make it so that once he is defeated, he disappears?

I've tried using Transparency, but that's a player thing, and doesn't affect him. :(

If anyone could help me, i'd be so grateful

- Myles

Turn a switch on at the end of the event, then create a new, empty page with that switch as the condition. This is extremely basic eventing, so I'd highly suggest you take a look at some beginner tutorials before going too much farther into your game.

Activate a self switch after the battle, create a new page that is activated if self switch is on.

Couple hours of work. Might use in my game as a secret find or something. Not sure. Fancy though no? :D
Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
Do you Find Tilesetting or Looking for Tilesets/Plugins more fun? Personally I like making my tileset for my Game (Cretaceous Park TM) xD
