RPG Maker Forums

Hey I'm a real newbie here and I'm learning so much from you guys!
I'm a starter and English is not my first language so I apologize in advance if I sound a little awkward or if I don't give you enough information about the problem. (If so, let me know!)

In my project, there are some cutscenes I want to make.
Some of them are too complicated to make in-game with autorun events, so I would like to play movie clips.
The last time I tried, I used OBS studio for recording and Premiere for editing the video clip.
The problem is that the video I rendered seemed to appear small in the game screen.

I wanted the video to be like this ↓

and this is what I've got ↓

You can see the video(red rectangle) is smaller than the game screen.
I think it's relevant to the resolution or the screen size...?
How can I fix this?

I don't mind if I have to use Vegas or other video editing tools.
AND I've already made much of the game in 816*624, and I don't think I can change the screen size now.
I've tried, but I think the plug-in that changes the screen size doesn't work with the ones I'm using - some of SRD's and Yanfly's plug-ins.

Our latest feature is an interview with... me?!

People4_2 (Capelet off and on) added!

Just beat the last of us 2 last night and starting jedi: fallen order right now, both use unreal engine & when I say i knew 80% of jedi's buttons right away because they were the same buttons as TLOU2 its ridiculous, even the same narrow hallway crawl and barely-made-it jump they do. Unreal Engine is just big budget RPG Maker the way they make games nearly identical at its core lol.
Can someone recommend some fun story-heavy RPGs to me? Coming up with good gameplay is a nightmare! I was thinking of making some gameplay platforming-based, but that doesn't work well in RPG form*. I also was thinking of removing battles, but that would be too much like OneShot. I don't even know how to make good puzzles!
