Making multi-loot from single enemy without events.

I tried copy and pasting a script (first time ever) . So not only am I not sure which section to paste the script in(assuming "Main"), but I have no idea which lines to edit or what to do on those lines.. I did Q-Basic like 15 years ago, but thats the closest thing to this kinda thing and i don't even remember those commands / lines and what they do.. So far scripts do nothing for me  > :(  as I know there are some out there that i might use but cannot understand, womp owmp. .Once I understand i'm sure I can create my own, maybe thats hoping for too much.

So will anyone help me get to work, or make a script that i can allow more than one loot per enemy?

Please do not copy or attach scripts, but provide a link to their original site.


That has many reasons, including that your problem might have already been asked and solved in the scripter's own site, but also because a lot of scripters don't like reposts.

Not exactly - you don't want people to see it, you want people to solve it. And the best chance for that is to post in a place where it's supposed to be because, that is where the people are looking for problems to solve.

You HAVE a script, you want help with it. Therefore it belongs in RGSSx Script Support.


But thank you for telling us how to do our jobs. That's always nice, given our length of time in this forum and your lack thereof ;)

Not sure if this was the one you had originally posted, but I was able to find one here (check the spoiler in the 4th post in the thread):

The script should not be pasted in Main. Any new scripts that you are adding should be placed in a new section, above main and below the default game scripts (if you right click on Main, use Insert to add a new section and paste the script into the new blank section).

As an example of how to set the drops, in this part of the code:

Enemy_Item_Drops = {
#Jabberwock
45 => {2 => 25, 118=>25, 219 => 50},

45 is the enemy ID in the database. 2 is the item ID and => 25 means the item has a 25% chance to drop. As you can see, this enemy has been set to drop item IDs 2, 118 and 219 from the database. You'll also notice further down in the script that you can set weapon and armor drops as well.

Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
Do you Find Tilesetting or Looking for Tilesets/Plugins more fun? Personally I like making my tileset for my Game (Cretaceous Park TM) xD
