Making plugins for beginners?

Hello,

I am somewhat familiar with writing in Javascript but I'd like to become more familiar. I can do simple things with it and I've dabbled with it a bit in school. Where would one suggest one get started with learning the ins and outs of plugin creation for RPGmaker MV? Is there a website or a tutorial that anyone could suggest? I have the goal of becoming more self reliant in game design so I could create my own plugins as needed. Please and thank you.

I would also suggest some beginner javascript tutorial on youtube. There you will learn the basic of programming, meaning variables (boolean, integer, float, string), arrays, function, loops, conditional, etc. This shouldn't be too long, the basics aren't very complicated and it's pretty short.

Once you learned the basic of javascript and coding, you can jump into coding inside the RPG Maker MV environment. In this part, you learn how to use the different tools that come with RPG Maker MV (the game objects, the windows, the sprites, the scenes, the manager).

I suggest

1) Learning basics JS
2) Open up the base JS files of the game to have an idea how the engine is coded
3) Look for plugins (especially those that edit a default functionality of the engine) and see how they did it. Then also look for plugins that completely add new things to the engine.
4) Start trying to make your own
