Maliki's Confusion Control
(Works with MV as well)

ver 1.2

Introduction:

Allows devs to set skills other than attack to be used when confused.
Also ability to set up "Charmed" state which will not completely randomize attack targets.

Features:
Normally, when a battler is confused, they will throw the basic attack at any other battler.
Now, once set up, the battler can use a specific set of skills.
And if you utilize the "Charmed" notetag, the confused battler will act more like a true "betrayer" unit; healing only enemies and damaging allies!

You can even add skills the battler does not yet know, or special skills that only a crazy person would do!
(Why is that golem throwing money at us?!)

Howto
:
To use this plugin, simply add the following tag to enemy, actor or class notes:

<conAttacks: x, y, z...>

with x, y, or z being the id number of the desired skill(s) in your database.

(Detailed instructions can be found in the Help section.)

Plugin Conflicts: There shouldn't be any conflicts with this plugin, however let me know if any are found and I'll try to correct them.

Permissions: This plugin can be used in any project, commercial or otherwise, as long as credit is given.

You think? I was sitting on this idea for months.
Kinda forgot about it until I noticed a request for it in the forums.
Anywho, thank you for appreciating the work.
(This one is going into my main project as well!)

So far I think my favorite confusion effect is from dragon quest 5 where it will tell you what the confused person is doing. For example they can tear off their armor (they actually unequip it and lose def) or try to hug enemies or party members during combat or forget the words to the spell they want to cast which is just flavor text for skipping a turn. Obviously this type of confusion would work better with first person combat over sideview but it was glorious.

As long as you're able to construct the skill, you can very much do that with this plugin.
(This was why the "user" scoped skills were so important for me to get right!)

Just finished composing a boss battle theme!
Scripted a multi-variable weather system that randomizes wind speed, cloudiness, rain, fogginess, etc, while attempting to realistically account for interactions between them (e.g. wind speed affects fogginess, cloudiness affects rain, etc), the current weather pattern, and the player's biome e.g. swamp, beach, etc. Now I "just" have to tie visuals and sounds to the variables so stuff actually happens...
I'm having a headache balancing the combat using flat defense so I'm gonna use percentual armor, in this pic, Simon has 16 on Defense which means all the incoming damage will be reduced by 16% this will ease my burden a bit.
!Have a nice day everybody¡
SO glad they patched outer worlds for switch! I can finally play it! Weird that other peeps are still having issues. I know it was really chugging on my lite when it first came out.
