Plot
There is only one kingdom in this world, and you have been exiled from it. With dangerous creatures lurking every corner, living in the wild is unspoken of.

Against all odds, and thanks to the grace of manastones, a community of banished survivors has formed a settlement. With their days seemingly counted, they've welcomed you as their latest champion, their hope, their manafinder. But seeking manastones is no ordinary task, for it is often a finder's demise either on the search itself, or by the hands of their natural guardians; powerful creatures who have grown attached to the energy emitted by these magical stones.

Between increasingly tense relations among the last remaining manafinders, and the difficulty of the job itself, surviving is slowly becoming a distant dream. In this time of crisis, will you be the heroine the settlement desperately needs?

Features
  • Full English and Spanish language support!
  • 10~15 hours of playtime!
  • Explore the fantastical environments of Aevi, with over 23 different biomes!
  • Fight over 120 different beasts, each with a unique design and combat strategy!
  • Use different weapons and elemental ores during combat to exploit enemy weaknesses!
  • Collect items and weapons, find manastones, harvest healing plants, and mine elemental ores to aid you in your quest!
  • Meet exiles, manafinders, nomads, the Gods, and other mysterious characters!
  • Choices made throughout the game will not only define the fate of the exiled but also result in one of the two completely different final chapters!
  • Take a break, and take on side quests with varied activities (including minigames!) that dive deeper into the lives of the exiled.
Lambda

Lambda is Manafinder's protagonist. She is the latest exile to join the settlement. Her combat prowess not only earned her a spot among the manafinders, but made her the best at the job.

Scar
PDzrgXy.png

dZCYIhz.png

Scar is a loyal dog, trained to aid in both combat and seeking manastones. He is particularly good at following commands.

Starkas
u6GVR25.png

gIxkgRj.png

Starkas is another manafinder and also the settlement's strongest fighter. Often described as a hothead, he is not afraid to fight for what he thinks is right, but little tolerance does he have for what he thinks it isn't.

Frederick
RJSLYFr.png

5dSCvgs.png

A manafinder and self-described pacifist, Frederick only resorts to fighting for the sake of self-defense and/or self-preservation. Even though he understands people like Starkas, he will always try to find an alternative to violence and try to convince others to follow suit.

The Oracle
TXsPy8q.png

euxVYRD.png

An individual gifted with the power of The Sight. For reasons unknown even to him, the gods grant him visions during his sleep, often about the location of manastones, which he then tasks manafinders to go after. Due to his unique power and wisdom, he is the de facto leader of the settlement.

Azain
1JNhoDy.png

qdFUXJH.png

A mysterious individual with a mysterious agenda. His ability to tap power from manastones in a destructive manner make him excel in combat. His secrecy and way with words certainly make his intentions seem nefarious.

Holy King Vikar
OEYW04K.png

A king, a legend, a myth. Vikar founded The Kingdom of Manahill hundreds of years ago, and still rules it to this day. A benevolent leader and savior to many, but a ruthless tyrant to others, in particular due to his tendency to exile people from the kingdom as a form of punishment for their wrongdoings.

…and many more characters!

This looks amazing! I'm so impressed. I'll be downloading it to try as soon as I'm able (even if it means I have to pay to do so! lol).

Awesome!

Your team is certainly very talented. Have you hired them or are they collaborators?

Thanks a lot everyone for your comments, they really motivate us! :)

Hired! That's how I met most of them (sound guy is my brother-in-law). They are all great people and I really appreciate them and their work. You can check out their websites and other projects/stuff in the links I provided on each team member (most of them have their pages in Spanish but they do speak English in case you shoot them a message).

Was going to say, that must be costing you an arm and a leg. Looks like money well spent, though!

Well, it does cost, but not enough to have to need a Kickstarter. At least not yet. Doing this game part-time and paying for it with my main job salary.

Hopefully it pays off so I can switch to indie dev, but I'd rather keep my expectations in check.

Knocked out two more cutscenes. Think that leaves me at 6? Last two are the two endings though so don't know if that counts as a "cutscene" but still.
Begrudgingly watched the first episode of Oshi No Ko. I didn't want to at first, but it came highly recommended.
Yeah, not a fun show

Boring: Using RPG Maker's default inventory function.
Based: Using SRD's Skill Extender to make submenus that split up items based on their use.

... Also I plan to use this for containing different levels of the same skill into one place.
Couple shots of my own window and button set stuff in action.
