I downloaded the trial and I made a comic. I decided to buy the program but I still can't save the comic that I made.

I'm so mad. The paid version doesn't even work. When I run it, it says "has stopped responding." I've reinstalled it 3 times, it just keeps saying the same thing and will not tell me what is going on. It only says "has stopped responding".

Manga Maker is not one of our products and we don't provide support for it on this forum. Who is the developer? Have you checked to see if they have a support forum for it? If not, can you please submit a support ticket with the issues, and someone at the office will be able to chase it up for you.

However, "stopped responding" on startup is sometimes a sign that your audio/video drivers are out of date. It might be worth checking for updates and giving it another go.

Both are partially correct - Degica is a distributor for Manga Maker, but neither the only english distributor nor the main support for it.

We can try to help with it, but the main english support goes by a different website - sorry, I don't have the link to it at the moment and it's late here.

I'll try to find it tomorrow to link it here

RPG Maker Web sells other products, apart from the RPG Maker series. But this forum is the RPG Maker forum. We provide support on this forum for the RPG Maker series. Products made by other companies are supported by those other companies.

Did you try what I suggested?

Well maybe the support isn't on the forum, but when I clicked support under the contact us option on the Web site, it lists Manga Maker as one of the products that is supported by this Web site. But you asked who the deleveoper was, and I figured you would know that information already if you are selling the product, because it said you were a staff member.

Also, when I go to find Manga Maker in Steam and click the support option, it lists rpgmakerweb.com as the support contact. So if that's not correct to use this forum, I think Steam should be updated. It's confusing because I only bought the product here and all of the support links go to this forum.

I uninstalled the trial edition and retarted the computer and it started working after that.

Thanks for the help.

Being a staff member does not mean I know everything that goes on in every department. I do a specific job - it has nothing to do with the store :)

Glad you got it working.

Just beat the last of us 2 last night and starting jedi: fallen order right now, both use unreal engine & when I say i knew 80% of jedi's buttons right away because they were the same buttons as TLOU2 its ridiculous, even the same narrow hallway crawl and barely-made-it jump they do. Unreal Engine is just big budget RPG Maker the way they make games nearly identical at its core lol.
Can someone recommend some fun story-heavy RPGs to me? Coming up with good gameplay is a nightmare! I was thinking of making some gameplay platforming-based, but that doesn't work well in RPG form*. I also was thinking of removing battles, but that would be too much like OneShot. I don't even know how to make good puzzles!
one bad plugin combo later and one of my followers is moonwalking off the screen on his own... I didn't even more yet on the new map lol.
time for a new avatar :)
