This is the first RPG Maker game I've ever published in public. If anyone would like to try it, feel free to here: http://www.moddb.com/games/mansion-oni

Gameplay video (credit: StriHiryu):

Oscar, a seventeen year old high-schooler, heads into a mansion and he is doing a mid-term research project. Just as he enters, he immediately starts his research. Oscar doesn't care about getting chased by monsters, all he wants is a good grade. He then starts to worry on his research paper, everything is going bizarre. He decided to stop researching and help others who are trapped inside of the mansion. Will he succeed? Or will he fail?

Mansion Oni requires you to use W,A,S,D, to move (click/tap features are implemented), and space to interact.

Game Genre/Flavors: Visual Novel, Horror, Strategy, Puzzle

I'll be honest, this game wasn't put to my full effort. I'll most likely do better on making games in the future, if I ever make another game.

Thanks.

I'm not going to try a half effort game from a website I don't know..

Judging from the let's play, you have a vision! And you make little typos!

When you decide make your full effort game, remember to make rooms that are not squares and have plenty decor in them.

Meant to reply earlier, but I forgot. :/

Thanks! I did feel like I rushed the game a bit. I only made this game in 3 days to finish it for the YouTuber who played the let's play for me. I was thinking about adding a little more decor into the rooms, but I felt like I was going to overdo it.

I've added this game on Newgrounds, if anyone would like to try this game without actually downloading it. You can play it here. Enjoy!

You removed it?
Yeah, sorry. I removed it because all I received from other people was hate. People kept saying I completely copied Ao Oni, even though I didn't. So, I removed it from Newgrounds and ModDB.

Well, did you knew those games before you started up?  Was it just a test to train yourself upon something you liked?  Was that an homage or parody of it?

Don't get bullied around if you stole nothing!

@Eric206 Not a mod, so this is purely advice: If you want your game thread open still, you'll need to add a working download link. Using something like dropbox or mediafire is fine to if you only want it on this site. If you don't intend to add it back you can report your initial topic to have it closed.

If you feel you need to do better, you can add in a link for what you have now and just add an updated version later.

How many parameters is 'too many'??
Yay, now back in action Happy Christmas time, coming back!

Back in action to develop the indie game that has been long overdue... Final Fallacy. A game that keeps on giving! The development never ends as the developer thinks to be the smart cookie by coming back and beginning by saying... "Oh bother, this indie game has been long overdue..." How could one resist such? No-one c
So I was playing with filters and this looked interesting...

Versus the normal look...

Kind of gives a very different feel. :LZSexcite:
To whom ever person or persons who re-did the DS/DS+ asset packs for MV (as in, they are all 48x48, and not just x2 the pixel scale) .... THANK-YOU!!!!!!!!! XwwwwX
