I'm putting my game on my own website. Encryption works great for files that are called in the system but when using files associated with a plugin, it doesn't include them in the game when deployed (at least not the plugins Im using)

My question is: can I use some script to use RPG Maker MV's internal encryption mechanism manually with the files I choose?

Thanks for any help!

The help file contains the syntax of the functions needed for a plugin to register files with the engine, then they should be handled that way.

the problem here is (as you already mentioned) that a lot of plugin writers do not use those functions.
But that is basically the only way to handle things with a web-published game. All other encryption methods are wrapper-types and can only be used for local filehandling, not for remote website download.

There are some 3rd-party web encryptions, but again those would have to be coded into the engine the same way the default encryption is, and that would again require adding those functions to the plugins as well.

Your only choice is to ask either the plugin writers themselve or other plugin writers familiar with the code to modify the plugins into using either the build-in encryption or some other 3rd-party encryption.

Is there a way to create a “fake” plugin that simply call those files not being required by the original plugins? Could you possibly make a mock-up for me? I would myself but I don’t know JavaScript that well?

Thanks for the help anyway tho!

Don't forget, aspiring writers: Personality isn't what your characters do, it is WHY they do it.
Hello! I would like to know if there are any pluggings or any way to customize how battles look?
I was thinking that when you start the battle for it to appear the eyes of your characters and opponents sorta like Ace Attorney.
Sadly I don't know how that would be possible so I would be needing help! If you can help me in any way I would really apreciate it!
