About
Microphone detection plugin, allows game developers to check for silence or easily grab the input volume.
This plugin was created for use in experimental horror games, but may be used for any purpose.

Tested on: Desktop [Windows 10]

Installation & Usage

!! Download !!

This plugin doesn't need to be in the list in a specific order.

To get the volume: Voice.getAverageVolume() (Returns a float)
To check for silence: Voice.isSilent() (Returns a boolean)

The volume can be compared in a conditional branch like so:
Voice.getAverageVolume() >= 90
It is recommended to use a parallel event if you are going for realtime mic detection.

I’ve tested this plugin, it works perfectly when i open the game with rpg maker, but when i export the game, it ask for permission to use the microphone, and when i agree, it doesn’t works

Is that on desktop or browser? I'm not sure if it's compatible with browsers.

Hi MDarkill,
I made a new project to test the plugin, and it seems to be working fine for me exported for desktop or browser (Chrome—on desktop and Android browsers). Here's a link to that sample that seems to be working (louder amplitude moves the character upward).

I hope I'm not necrobumping. I checked the plugin's help section but it doesn't say how to set up events that accept voice commands.

What kind of script call do I use?

but I dont know if you can just use "commands" like detect words
such as "power", "electric", " ultraboost".

same in a zelda game which a mic was required, you can blow if you like
and it was accepted, if you want to take on commands like those,
it require a different setup and functions to do so, but this does not.
