Thinking of upgrading from RMMV and wondered if there are new solutions for animated map elements yet (for animating flora, cloth, etc - bringing scenes to life a bit more).

Yanfly's doodads plugins helped with that in RMMV, but needs to be low framerate due to being entirely sprite based. Seeing RMMZ has a 60fps particle based animation system for combat makes me wonder if the engine finally supports basic functions like applying sine waves, object rotation per degree etc, to simulate animations on a single sprite frame. Or really, any improvement here at all over RMMV to speak of?

hi, i was looking thru ur awesome stuff, and was looking around the internet, how in the heckin heck do i get the hiddendoors to open? im addng them to the doors event but they just appear as solid walls, btw am total noob lol
