Hi there,
I'm wondering if anyone has a solution for using particle-based animations on the map (not just in battle). Seems like an obvious feature for MZ to have with the introduction of particle-based animations, but I can't seem to find anyone discussing this in the forums.
I'm looking to use particles to animate e.g. fireplaces in a more smooth and dynamic way than just use a four-frame event sprite. In MV, MOG's Character Particles did the job - but sadly, it's not compatible with MZ. Playing battle animations on the map via an event call doesn't work because the animation starts and ends and doesn't repeat (and besides, the animations fade in and out so it would look unnatural even if I could get it to repeat).
Has anyone found a way to get this to work?
