Hi guys, I've got a bit of a issue regarding helping a player know where to go on the game to progress- you see my game isn't intended to be your standard- one room to the next to complete it. My game's world is a large city where many large maps connect the city streets to each other where some maps have accessable buildings. The issue is helping the player locate where to go by using a map or pinpoint indicator. For lack of an explaination- Grand theft auto/ Elderscrolls make excellent examples of pinpointing where to go.
The trouble is how to implement it and what plugin out there can help ( if there is such a plugin)
I am considering most logical and easiest way of accomplishing it is by having a World map handy that can be accessed by the menu, or atleast transport you to a room of a map. And if a location on the map has an objective, the location could be highlighted or have a arrow on it etc.
Has anyone thought of this- or already made such a thing?
