Hi there,

I am trying to make a map that acts like a 'world' so it loops/scrolls from 1 side to the other seamlessly. I've have set "scroll type" to both and it shows the beginning of the right side when i go all the way to the left, but i cannot walk to the other side (invisible wall). Do i need to setup events to teleport the character to the other side? Or is there a better way to do this?

Cheers

No, if you have scroll type set, it will do everything for you.

Do you have any active plugins?  Can you show a picture of the map in the editor, and in the game, where you encounter the "invisible wall"?

Please don't try to do anything to work around the problem - there is clearly something causing it to not work as it should, and we need to figure out what that is and fix it.

Did you draw anything with different tiles around the borders of the map?

You may have to check the passability settings in the database under tilesets.

sorry, i had already deleted that map by the time my message was approved, though i built a quick test map and god the same result again.

I did some fiddling around and figured out that it was being caused by the SuperOrangeMovement plugin - turning it off made the scrolling work properly again.

Our latest feature is an interview with... me?!

People4_2 (Capelet off and on) added!

Just beat the last of us 2 last night and starting jedi: fallen order right now, both use unreal engine & when I say i knew 80% of jedi's buttons right away because they were the same buttons as TLOU2 its ridiculous, even the same narrow hallway crawl and barely-made-it jump they do. Unreal Engine is just big budget RPG Maker the way they make games nearly identical at its core lol.
Can someone recommend some fun story-heavy RPGs to me? Coming up with good gameplay is a nightmare! I was thinking of making some gameplay platforming-based, but that doesn't work well in RPG form*. I also was thinking of removing battles, but that would be too much like OneShot. I don't even know how to make good puzzles!
one bad plugin combo later and one of my followers is moonwalking off the screen on his own... I didn't even more yet on the new map lol.
