Hello!
I am working on a game in RPG Maker 2003. I'm aware that there must be some reason regarding fading in/show screens/tint screens on why my map is not showing up after transferring my player but I cannot identify it and have been trying to do so for a whole day (I know, silly, but I'm having a tough time).

The events before the transfer to the map is all just images shown since it's instructions and all that jazz (the usual Yume Nikki Fangame stuff yknow). Spoilered below is the events before the map. I've tested the BGM in the map it transfers and it appears it is loading in but is simply not showing. Can anyone identify what part may not be fixed to make it so it won't actually show? Thank you so much in advance!

First image: The event is set to loop parallel, but doesn't contain any zero-wait (should be put at end), making it waste an extreme amount of performance. The interpreter will execute 10000 commands per frame until the teleport is happening.

Second image: The event normally should stop execution after the third line because there's an event-eraser. Even if it doesn't (maybe because autorun-page have some special behaviours in cancellation) you should remove that line. More importantly, the commands for hide and show screen are made for effects and blend-sequences while you stay on the same map, not for teleporting. You can use the command that changes current settings for teleport hide/show instead. And since you're hiding the screen, this might be why you don't see the target map appearing.

Random useless fact of the day: All mushrooms are edible. Some however only once.

I like how in 2018 I was able to build a really good PC for less than 600 USD, with a 10 series GPU, which was the latest gen at the time. Now in 2023 for 650usd I can build something with a 20 series card, which is 4 years old and 2 gen behind now. Pc parts pricing is a complete mess nowadays.
