Important
To download use MultiTweaks plugin or scrolldown to the Arthran fix attachment in this thread.

Description
This script allows you to show maps with a default zoom. When activated the zoom of the map changes. Specify the map zoom using in the map notetag box the notetag
Code:
Zoom:X
where X is a decimal number greater than 1. If the notetag is not specified the default zoom is 1. Examples of valid notetags:
Code:
Zoom:1.5
Zoom:2
Zoom:2.6

Options
  • Default zoom for maps. The default zoom when none is specified as notetag.
  • Always free camera. When activated, the camera will never be blocked by the edges of the map (as it works with the zoom on).
  • Fix sprite black lines? This option will cut the sprites one pixel in each side.
  • Fix map encounter zoom? Deactivate this option if you changed the default encounter zoom effect.
Event Plugin-Commands
  • Zoom: Allow to use a Zoom animation in events plugin commands.

Create new event in paralel, and use PlugIn command, or just use notetag on map

I have edited this plugin to fix the camera issue.

It is no longer necessary to use free camera with the zoom. If the "Always Free Camera" option is set to "False", then the camera will now behave normally when zoomed in--i.e. it will properly stop at the edges of maps. I have also fixed some bugs that were causing the camera to potentially become increasingly un-centered during map transfers.

My edit has the same license (MIT) as the original, so feel free to do whatever you want with it.

This is pretty dang neat, especially for those sprites that are a little to small to see good

Hi Arthran!

I just wanted to thank you for the fixed to the camera plugin! It's great to have the camera completely centered on the player again! :LZYcool:

Have a lovely day!

This is what I have been waiting for since the native 16x16 support came out. Thank you so much!

Seriously can't thank you enough for the camera fix; I'm using 32x32 and I was going nuts trying to fix it. Thank you both for this awesome plugin!:kaoluv:

Edit:
This plugin doesn't work with the newly released ARPG plugin. Sucks, because now I have to find some alternative way to fix the zoom issue. I did use other zoom plugins, including the official one but no luck. Seems like when the ARPG is grabbing the map info it conflicts with the zoom. Augh :kaodes:

Does anybody want to get weirded out? If so, I have a weird fact for them in the top comments.
Creating the mood, coloring, and lighting for this gonna need a big brain moment.1685936069202.png
Someone in a facebook group just corrected something I said, by saying exactly what I said. The mind boggles.
Less than 20 tiles remain in Inside_B that I need some kind of analogue of in my in custom Inside_B, and a whole 39 tiles that I didn't use and can thus make my own custom tiles or my own flavors of from other tile sheets.
