Here are a few examples of different maps, scenery and landscapes I've made using different elements from RPG Maker MV.

View of the Mountains

View of the Mountains.png
This is a scene from the desert looking towards the mountains.

Hidden Fountain

Hidden Fountain.png
This map scene shows an area of a hidden forest.

Woodfern House

Woodfern House 3.png
Here is a scene with Woodfern House, from the game Reflections Path, overlooking a lake.

Island Overlook

Island Overlook.png
A scene from a shore overlook in view of an island.

These are very pleasant to look at.
I would, however, query the size and placement of the fountain next to Woodfern House. It seems rather close and large. It might be an optical illusion, but it also looks like it's on a slope due to a slight difference in the angle of view. Maybe you need to make it a tiny bit more elliptical to change the perspective of the back rim.

Just gonna say the character sprite not having the same lighting / shadow treatment makes it look awkward. Otherwise good work.

Wow... I really like that forest. Just be careful about the collisions and stuff. Parallaxing in RM can be a pain.

Thanks, and yeah you're right about the fountain. That's something that I need to change. I'll go ahead and made the adjustments. I appreciate the feedback!

Here is the original.

Here is the updated version.

Lovely work. :)

Which one is your favourite?
Thanks, I appreciate it! As far as my favorite, I would say the Hidden Fountain because of the different blend of colors. I think it gives the area a more mystic, dreamlike kind of look. I also like the potential of making a whole level from it.

Thanks, and yeah if you're talking about the character in the Woodfern House image, I'll try and make the adjustments to it. I appreciate the feedback!

Thanks! I'm really happy how it turned out. Yeah, you're absolutely right about parallaxing.

@greenaura That is so much better. Something else which I only spotted now. The stem of the upper disk of the fountain looks like it doesn't rise out of the centre. All you need to do to fix that is to extend the base of the stem down a couple of pixels (possibly just a simple copy/paste would do it) so that it looks like it's more central.

But a big improvement over the original even if you don't do that.

Ah, yes, I see what you're talking about. An adjustment that I should be able to do fairly quickly. Again, thanks for the feedback!

This started off as a scene with just a railway and a frozen lake. Eventually, I added things like trees and snow-covered mountains to complete the landscape image.

Continuing our countdown with Capsule Monster #14 Plug-Go! Plug-Go was originally meant to be the design of a gameboy game I wanted to make that was inspired by Megaman Battle Network! While that hasn’t worked out I’m happy I was able to recycle his design!

12 hour little challenge for myself to do a big'ish enemy. Released for MV/MZ, working on my streamline one for later as I love the four frames over three. Spins a whole lot better I think.
Okay last one for now, it's time to go treat myself to some Zelda!

UPDATED- I've completely ripped off Sword of Mana right here lol
It seems like the imgur images are working again! ;3
