I don't know how much control there is over the forum interface, but I figured I'd put this out there as I've seen it on other sites.
I wish there were a middle ground between having to actually click into a thread and hitting the button to mark everything in all the forums as read.
If I'm done with a thread and I just want to not keep scrolling past it in the list of unread posts; or if I can tell from the title or which forum it's in that I don't have any interest in it; it would be nice to have a button someplace in its row to Mark as Read for just that one thread.
As it is, I have to actually click into each one, give it a few seconds to load, then go back to the list (where it's not actually removed until I refresh the screen).
