All support forums now have a button "Mark Solved"

Moderators, as well as the thread creator can now flag solutions as the best answer, leaving a section at the top of the thread with the solution as well as a link to jump to the forum post.

It also marks the thread as answered while browsing the forum the thread is in.

If I missed any forums that need it, please let me know.

Please use this feature responsibly. I will revoke the posting privileges of anyone that abuses this system.

Soundcloud audio can now be embedded in posts using:

Code:
[media]soundcloud.com link[/media]
Or just posting the soundcloud link directly.

*goes to mark some prior topics solved* :D

Edit: is this possible to extend to locked topics not marked solved, and the resource request forums?

Can you please explain the process where someone marks an answer as "best answer" and someone else comes along with a better answer? Can the poster or a mod just unmark the previous best answer and mark the new one?

What if there's disagreement about which one is best (I'm thinking in more extreme cases where the poster might accept an answer "because it works" but it causes other problems and really should not be suggested as a solution)?

Now we'd REALLY know who are our quality posters if we had a Best Answer count on people's profiles, that would increment every time their post was chosen as "best answer"

1.) They click the unmark button or simply mark another post as the solution.

2.) It's really up to the OP, it's their thread and the solution they chose that solved their problem. Although in the not too distant future I might trump the system with a voting-type system. Not really sure. Not locking threads anymore when an OP has fixed their problems allows time for better solutions to come in, if the staff decided to stop locking them.

3.) Neat idea for the future but it goes against #2.

The only issue I have with #2 is that the OP really may not know what's a good solution and what's a bad solution. Something that "gets the job done" is not something we'd want people to imitate if it had bad side effects. I suppose we can wait and see if/when it happens.

*continues to resist the urge to close threads*

I understand what mean Shaz ....exemple if shaz giving me a help for this problem but this not fix all problem who turn aroung this question like :

How I can transfert Class content to a another class?

and shaz answe me '''Something.new'' but I know they exist like a million other way to do this ...so I guess this is up to the OP.

(@shaz : shaz I think you are a Closing topic addict....XD *give to shaz desintox flyer* ...go to the C.T.A.A (Closing topic addic annonyme) )

I can really see song creators using this... a lot.

This isn't a "RPG Maker Web Approved" answer system. It's a system where the OP chooses the post that solved their problem. That's all there is to it.

Back in action to develop the indie game that has been long overdue... Final Fallacy. A game that keeps on giving! The development never ends as the developer thinks to be the smart cookie by coming back and beginning by saying... "Oh bother, this indie game has been long overdue..." How could one resist such? No-one c
So I was playing with filters and this looked interesting...
