    Hello Friends,

I was curious exactly what the max size for the battlesprites are for SideView mode. I have exported one of the sheets, and I am not sure if that size is what I HAVE to use, or if I can mess with it to make it bigger and such.

Take for example, the enemy sprites and CGs, theyre bigger but static. Is it possible to do something like that with this system?

A more streamlined approach was something like:

The size of the battle sprites are around the same size as the enemy sprites, but they have less animations (like, Idle, attacking, dead) and such.

I could not find much information regarding this, and I do not have much knowledge for sprites to help my art guy out, so any assistance or direction would be greatly appreciated!

    Thank you

there is absolutely no size requirement for sprites - it's the structure that counts.
You should keep sprites small enough to fit on the screen however...

the cell size (for a single picture) can be choosen freely, your sprite just have to make sure that all cells on the sheet are the same size.
Map-sprites have 3x4 cells (single sprite) or 12x8 cells (spritesheet of 4x2 sprites), SV battlers have 9x6 cells.
And that is all the requirements of the engine.
    EDIT: ninja'd
