Max Level Problems

So I made a game with RPG Maker MV for Ludum Dare. A friend of mine played all the way through the game, but pulled off something that shouldn't have been possible.

As part of the game, I have the max level set to 20. However, he, who's playing the PC Deployed version, managed to get all the way up to level 28 on all of his characters through grinding.

Any idea what's going on there, and is there anything I can screenshot to perhaps help get this fixed?

Did you set max lelel in the database?

If yes, then it's possible that you are using a plugin that overwrites the actor max level value (Like "Yanfly's Core Engine Plugin").

Check your plugins, if you don't use any plugins let me know.

That's probably it--I do have Yanfly's plugins, and didn't think they affected it.
