Member+ past resources?

I have a question regarding member + before thinking of buying a yearly subscription.

If I brought it today do I have access to past members+ resources for commercial use from the first day of the month up to now?

I kinda like the old resources that is included in my humble bundle purchase in the past and I kinda want to get a yearly subscription because of that.

Member+ resources are available for three month, which means that if you buy M+ today then you'll get this month pack, the two previous packs as a bonus and the packs released until your subscription runs out.


Everything else wouldn't be fair to the people who paid monthly for years from the beginning of the M+ program.

Why would people buy a subscription quarter after quarter if they can just wait a couple of years, buy 1 month, and get access to everything? As Andar says, totally unfair.

oh... Well it still fare anyway thank for the answer. but it is possible in the future to get some of the old pack as a separate purchase in the future like from the 2014 or 2015 series or something just like the humble bundle Member+ pack (unless if what I currently have is the complete set from the past Member+)? or it is impossible.

There's plans to offer past resources as paid backs in the future, there's just currently not ETA as it requires a lot of logistics.

Not to be an ass here, but that's something the staff have been saying ever since Members+ first opened. I realize it's something everybody wants and you guys are trying to figure out the best approach, but at some point I'm thinking it's not worth the hassle for you guys to try and figure out, since as you said there are too many logistics to figure out, and the headache that comes of it must require one heck of a pill to swallow in order to curb some of the frustration.

Actually, maybe the best approach would be to allow the Members+ contributors to decide what to do with their materials outside of Members+. That way they can choose to release or sell their own material as they see fit after the Members+ people get their copy?

It's because we are taking contributors' wishes when it comes to the resources into account that the logistics of setting this up are more difficult than usual.

We're trying to figure out a solution that's both fair to artists and to Member+ subscribers. I'm sorry that it's taking very long, but it's not something we swept under the rug and forgot about.

But wouldn't my suggestion fix that? Allowing the contributors to release their own materials the way they want after it's been released to Members+? That way they can decide to give it away or sell it to people who weren't part of Members+ at the time, but want them.

It would encourage people to stop subscribing and just wait for the artists to release their material- which would lead to less money to pay our contributors and less material being produced. Or it would promote an unhealthy competition where one artist is favored over another. Not to mention that we'd get people advertising products that compete with our store - something that's against the forum rules.

Really, we've thought of this idea and many others. We have not come up with a happy solution yet.

Resources are not released in bits and pieces throughout the month. There is one release only.


Here is what I can see currently in the Plus lounge - if you joined today, you would have access to all of them:

You asked if you get access to resources from the first day of the MONTH. I read up to "first day" then moved to the next line, thinking you were asking about resources from the first day of the whole program.

Resources are not released in bits and pieces throughout the month. There is one release only.

Thanks for the info It really get me thinking if it a good investment or not Since in the past from the time member+ is introduced, you only showcase two set of resources from Feburary 2013 which it doesn't really effectively want myself to buy member+ around the time until the time you guys include member+ resources in your previous humble bundle event. Which really make me interested into buying a yearly subscription since I saw how good it was.

If you guys look the page advertising member+ (http://www.rpgmakerweb.com/products/services/member-plus) I don't see any sample resources or anything that making me interested into paying 42$ a year or 12$ per 3 month until you guys actually introduced how good it was during the humble bundle sale.

And also my suggestion for your past release problems is how about getting member+ and if you want to get the old ones pay just a few dollars or something to get the past ones. Thus late member and people who stop paying the subscription because of financial issues and join again after a few month beyond the 2 month gap can still get the resources they missed around that time.

And also what the payment options at the forums store anyways?

And also I kinda like if there a way to prepaid member+ without any automated renewal especially for people who use prepaid credit card for online purchase Since I kinda like to use a prepaid card on purchasing stuffs online. Just for my own protection. Because the bank can disable the card if it doesn't been used for 120 days from release.
