memory leak mobile

hello, i am doing a game for mobile but it is imposible, memory go crash when i play for 5 minutes, without plugins neither big maps, all basic, but when i go to


the menu the memory increase. i though i would be solutionen in version 1.4, but it hasnt been. i dont know what doing? i have bought some for nothing....???

The memory leaks have been fixed in 1.3.4 (there is no 1.4 yet), but you need to update your project to 1.3.4 for that fix to work - updating the editor does not change your projects, and project updates are never automatic, they have to be done manually.


So best guess is that you made a mistake updating your projects - make a new backup and follow the instructions for project updates again, then deploy and test.


And if the memory leak is due to plugins, only the plugin writer can fix that problem.


That said, it might be something else - if you're using parallax maps or resources with bad compression rates, then the memory usage might go high even without a leak, and most mobiles don't have the same RAM as desktop PCs - parallax maps are a bad choice for mobile development...

Jeje, sorry i wanted to say version 1.3.4. I have updated my project to 1.3.4, even, i have created a new from 0. I have tested this basic project from 0 whithout plugins and without parallax maps and when i go to menu increase from 5 to 10 mg the memory, then when i play 15 minutes in the mobile, i have tested it in many models and it crash. You could do test easily too, if the memory dont increase you from 5 to 10 mg any time you go to menu, please let me know. Thank you

so hopefully tomorrow i get to go home from the hospital i've been here for 5 days already and it's driving me mad. I miss my family like crazy but at least I get to use my own toiletries and my own clothes. My mom is coming to visit soon i can't wait to see her cause i miss her the most. :kaojoy:

Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
