Hello, I'm new here so I'm unsure if this is the right category to ask the question, but any help greatly appreciated. This is specifically for RPG Maker VX Ace.

I want to create my own menu system - Not just the main menu, but everything it accesses such as Equip menu or Item menu. This would involve anything from using images only to using a combination of images and RM's built-in windows.

I have attached an image as a very basic example of equipping menu to show the kind of customization I'm going for (where each item would have its own window showing where it is equipped).

I will say that although I have Luna Engine, I discovered it after I already made a ton of progress on the game I'm designing and I understand Luna is very difficult to use after a project is already started. But even then, I admit that the Luna Engine is a tad confusing for me, so I have not figured out how to do what I'm after in that engine.

Whether by eventing or commissioning someone to script a menu I design, if anyone can point me the right direction, it would be appreciated. :)

Well, I'm not an pro event guy so my solutions almost always involve the use of scripts.
In my opinion, it'd be better to let a script handle something like that custom equipment scene menu.

Just remembered one of my favorite albums as a teenager. It's amazing how music can take you back.

The downside to wearing my work clothes: When it rains heavily like a monsoon outside... the water renders my clothes basically transparent. It's... an adventure to get home like that, to say the least. Thankfully, it doesn't rain here that often.
