Hi. I've been tinkering with the .js files of MZ to be able to add a new option in the pause menu. Thing is, I've been experimenting a bit with the game files more than the plugins. I've been creating a cook function using the same ItemBase methods that Skills and Item use, but I'm not sure if it would be the correct option.
Summary, my question is if this is the correct option to create one more option for the pause menu using the items you have in inventory.

Also my question would be if it is better to edit the game's .js, or instantiate my new codes as plugins.

actually, are there any JRPG type games (I guess turn based, so not ARPGs like say, Vagrant Story) where you have only one party member for the majority of the game? (I wonder if I'm forgetting something obvious.)
