Hi everyone I was looking around the net but couldn't find a good message backround for my game for RPG Maker MV. I found a few but not quite what I had in mind, so I thought I would ask here since I know there happens to be so many fantastic artists around and I don't have the ability to draw a stick figure right.

I did make a very very bad picture of what I kind of have in mind in paint to give you a reference. The dialogue box with a very light blue color to it so you can still see the text and then I have those little swirl designs (at least thats what they are supposed to be) that would be in the backround with a darker blue color and then the char face portrait area so pretty much the message box with the face portrait the swirly things and the light blue color in the back of it all.

Anyways It would be super appreciated if anyone could take a crack at this and help me out a little ^^.  I would do it myself but I have the artistic knowledge of a sock drawer at least when it comes to this.

Unfortunately, message box backgrounds are comprised of a repeating pattern, so having those exact swirls would be impossible with the vanilla message box creator in MV.

I may be able to help you make something, but it's unlikely that it will have the same number of swirls as your image there.

edit: For example, if I used MV's default settings, the windowskin would look something like this:

I see, that is actually completely fine with me honestly, It was more of just a rough example for the idea of what I was thinking about in the backround, the amount of swirls and position of them isn't very important to me really just as long as the design and colors fit together ^^. What you have there in the picture looks nice :)

Really? If you want it, I'll post it here tomorrowish, need to get back to my PC to grab it. I deleted it cause some parts of it didn't combine smoothly. I'll fix it up if you want as well.

Here it is:

(rename to window.png then place in **game_directory**/img/system/)

Square borders: http://i.xomf.com/mvgsc.png

Round borders: http://i.xomf.com/cpdgz.png

To make it blue:

Go to the game's database, system tab, then find the window color square. Double click the square.

Adjust until desired color is found.

Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
Do you Find Tilesetting or Looking for Tilesets/Plugins more fun? Personally I like making my tileset for my Game (Cretaceous Park TM) xD

Yay, now back in action Happy Christmas time, coming back!

Back in action to develop the indie game that has been long overdue... Final Fallacy. A game that keeps on giving! The development never ends as the developer thinks to be the smart cookie by coming back and beginning by saying... "Oh bother, this indie game has been long overdue..." How could one resist such? No-one c
