    Metronome Skill

    What This Plugin Does:


    It allows you to easily and effectively create a Metronome Skill.


    A Metronome Skill is a move from Pokémon that, when used, makes the user call upon any random move from the entire game.


    How to Use It:


    First, install the Plugin.


    Next, watch the video above or read the text below:


    Input the following Notetag into a Skill to make it a Metronome Skill.

    Input the following Notetag into a Skill to stop it from being called from a Metronome Skill.

    Code:
    <Restrict Metronome>
    If you wish for a certain Metronome Skill to only be able to call upon a certain list of Skills, use this Notetag setup:

    Code:
    <Metronome Avaliable Skills>
    x, y, z…
    </Metronome Avaliable Skills>
    Replace x, y, z... with an indefinite list of Skill IDs separated by commas representing the pool of Skills available for this Skill to call.


    For example:

    1, 2, 5, 6, 7, 9, 10, 11, 12, 
    13, 14, 17, 18, 19, 22, 23,
    25, 28, 29, 30

    Also, here are some Parameters:


    Battle Log Message


    Description: Set this to the Battle Log message you wish to display when a Metronome skill is used.


    Default: A random skill will be used!


    Multiple Metronome?


    Description: Determines whether it is possible for a Metronome skill to call another Metronome skill.


    Default: false

    amazing plugin! I'll certainly use it.
    BTW I have a suggestion to you for a plugin pretty much like this one, but instead of random skill, it will summon a different skill based on the weapon Equipped by the character

    For example: Skill name is Draw Out, it's effect is different depending on character's equipped weapon, so if Actor A is equipped with Weapon id 1 so draw out will cast skill id 1(Fireball)
    If actor is equiped with weapon ID 2, the skill summoned will be ID 2(Spark)

    Sure, sounds like an awesome idea.


    Though you could probably do that with Skill + Common Event, it's always way better to have a Plugin for it. (Unless there's already a Plugin specifically for that already...)

    I've been looking for a plugin for that, but I couldn't find anyone. Eitherway, I have a game in mind that mix some elements from Pokémons, Final Fantasy and world of warcraft Series to the reality xD, it'll be a comedy game so all of your Pokemon related plugins will help me a lot to make it,

    What you want is to Replace Actions with another, right? (Draw Out > Skill from the weapon)

    Hmm.. something I'm doing wrong :/


    Did set this up for testing, and the actor casts the Metronome Spell, but after that nothing happens and the turn of the next battler begins.


    Uploaded the img from the Metronome Skill + the 3 Skills chosen for testing.

    Yeah, check out Victor's one first, then if you don't like it, you can come back here. ^^



    Yeah, the Skills look perfectly set up, so it appears that there may be a conflict between my Plugin and another Plugin you have installed.


    What I would recommend is first placing mine at the bottom or top of the Plugin list and see if that changes anything.


    Next, try turning off some battle-related Plugins in order to see if any of them are causing the problem.


    This Plugin should work fine with Yanfly's Battle Engine, though I haven't gone out of my way to test it, so that may be a possibility.


    It would be awesome if I could see a list of your currently installed Plugins. :D

    Yep, found the incompatibility, which is DreamX's Instant Turn Battle Plugin.
