Couldn't you just set immunity to the other states in the state options box?

You have Poison and Venom, one does more damage than the other.

In the Venom notebox, just set the immunity to Poison.

Though this script is more useful/convenient, so I will be using.

Sure you could "fake" something similar with creative use of specific skills that remove and add different sets of states independently, but why go to all of that trouble when you can have the game system handle it itself?

anyway, this is a pretty neat system... an easier way to handle effect sets...
