Game Synopsis

You control Projah the Sorceress, Zestana the Zauberer, James the Slayer, Rocky the Elemental. You have been tasked by Duke Drummond to search a nearby mine.

Gadianton Kushkumen and his band of bandits have kidnapped numerous villagers, and it’s up to Proja, Zestana, James, and Rocky to put a stop to Gadianton and his band, and to bring proof of his defeat to Duke Drummond.

Will you resolve all conflicts diplomatically? Intimidate your way to Gadianton? Or will you cut a path through all his men for a chance to offer Gadianton’s head to Duke Drummond on a silver platter.

Projah, being a diplomat specializes in diplomacy, while Zestana being a battle hardened warrior (and a drow), can intimidate the most jaded of folk, and James, the reformed assassin, relishes at the chance to see bloodshed.

The game features customized classes with a feel of classic Table Top RPGs, each class has its own leveling up progression, unique and custom made skills, with most of them having custom made animations. For the purpose of this demo, the maximum level has been set to 2.

Almost every possible encounter will have from 3-4 choices, usually three of them being, diplomacy, intimidate, and fight. Diplomacy and intimidate will allow players to bypass most combat encounters while still granting experience points. However, players won’t always acquire any items the enemies might have dropped (including gold).

Usually descriptions of the surroundings or certain PC/NPC actions will be narrated by the Game Master, to give it that TTRPG feel.

This initial demo includes a variety of secrets, including a hidden boss.  Pay attention to what the captives say, most of them will give you hints!

But this is my first try at designing a video game.

The full game will be based on a Table Top RPG game I ran for my friends a year ago.

The demo is about 5-6 minutes long.

Just beat the last of us 2 last night and starting jedi: fallen order right now, both use unreal engine & when I say i knew 80% of jedi's buttons right away because they were the same buttons as TLOU2 its ridiculous, even the same narrow hallway crawl and barely-made-it jump they do. Unreal Engine is just big budget RPG Maker the way they make games nearly identical at its core lol.
