Missing features that I want in RPG Maker VX - how do I get them for free?

Hi everyone, I am planning to make a game today. However I have noticed that there are some missing features that I want in RPG Maker VX, and I have paid for it so I'm not sure if I should regret getting it or not. I haven't used the program in a while and I want to give it another shot. So, I want some answers early today if that's ok so that I can make the game soon. I don't want to waste so much money and I have paid for this program due to listening on to one of my cousins who suggested this version of RPG Maker, I'm not sure it's because of his disliking of VX Ace just because he doesn't like it or because there were some problems with the game. Here are the features that I want in VX: 


Character Descriptions in the Actors Database (that would also show in the game.) 


Automatic Generator Map (an action that makes the program create a random map for you, depending on what type of map you want.) 


Perhaps have the actors show up against the enemy during battle (if possible) 


And a scrolling intro (just a general one.) 


If anyone can give me some tips, that would be great. I would like to install most of these features without having to go through 


a lot of encoding. I will not tell you what game it is, so please refrain from asking. Thanks for the tips in advance, guys.

Editor changes are not possible, especially not for an program as old as VX.


And either your friend didn't know what he was talking about or made a mistake, for there is absolutely no reason to choose VX over VXA, VXA improved a lot of the VX limitations.


What you can do is look for scripts that change the engine - those exist, and they can add functions to the game (just not to the editor).


You'll have to search for them or request them in the correct part of the forum.


However, if you're open to suggestion, then use the current 80% off sale of Ace to get that, or search IsThereAnyDeal.com for a cheap deal on Steam-Ace later - it's usually available at <15$ several times a year, and removing the limitation to one tileset (Ace allows different tilesets on different maps, VX has one tileset for every map in the game unless you're really into scripts) alone will be worth that, not to mention the other improvements of Ace.


MV would be even better, but that program is too new to be available at a discount and I don't know if you would be willing to purchase it full-price to get the option of mobile deployment (Ace and VX are Windows only)
