So one of my tilesets is missing like half of it's tiles. What the hell happened?

Where did you get that? Take note that some packs don't really have complete tiles in some or all sheets.

All tilesheets for Ace have a fixed format and a maximum size, and there are six different formats for the six different types of slots (A1 to A5 and the sixth format is for B to E).

If some of your tiles are missing, then either you placed the tilesheet in the wrong slot or it was bigger than allowed - we can't tell without you showing us the original tilesheet picture or telling us into which slot you placed it.

Please refer to the help file for description of the allowed tilesheet formats - if they're official tileshees, their names usually contain an A# if they were ment for one of the autotile slots.

Did you know that you can use the scroll bar on the right to look for the right hand side of your tilesheet?

See how you have sixteen squares in the sheet you see in the tiles listed on the left?

You scroll down to see the other half of the big square sheet you imported.

(I see the scroll bar has slid down so I am assuming you know about this - plus you have a bunch of maps already!)

If that is not the problem, you can post the tilesheet you are using (or if it is commercial, pm it to someone appropriate) and ask them if it is okay.

TileE files should be 512 by 512.

Is that a VX Ace tilesheet of 512x512?

It looks like maybe you downloaded a preview image instead of a source image??? and it is too small.

Since when does DOWN & UP go LEFT & RIGHT?

And no. I'm quite certain it's not a preview image.

The tilesheet is 512x512 pixels, but in the editor it's shown as a 256x512 pixels first, the second half displayed under the first one.

So, if you have something like this in your tilesheet:

AB

CD

It will be displayed in the editor like this:

A

C

B

D

Couple hours of work. Might use in my game as a secret find or something. Not sure. Fancy though no? :D
Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
Do you Find Tilesetting or Looking for Tilesets/Plugins more fun? Personally I like making my tileset for my Game (Cretaceous Park TM) xD
