Hi.
one day i was just amazed at how graphically the rpg makers so far differed graphically. so I thought if I could move the texture of the older rpg makers into the newer project, I could use it as free resources.

but when i tried to go for older rpg projects, i had to realize that there are no local files in the rpg maker version 2000-2003. so I have nothing to import ...

so, should i need help, where to find the files of older rpg makers?

is it possible to find the textures of the 2000-2003 version locally at all or does it not save it to my computer?

here is a picture of my problem.

I have moved your post to RM2k3 Support

I haven't really used that version of the engine so I can't answer your question. But you can only do this if you own a legal copy of it (you didn't actually say).

As a guess, is there a Resource Manager, and in that, do you have the option to Export? I wonder if it's like XP, VX and Ace where they use a separate RTP and don't actually put the files into your project folder.

Yes, there are RTP folders. If you forgot where you installed an RTP, at first check these locations:

Code:
Windows (32bit):
  C:\Program Files\Common Files\Enterbrain\
  C:\Program Files\Common Files\KADOKAWA\
Windows (64bit):
  C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Enterbrain\
  C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\KADOKAWA\

If it's not there, you need administrator rights for the next method. Open the registry editor, you can find it by typing "regedit" into the startmenu's search function.

Now pick the version you are searching for and navigate to it on the left side.

Code:
Windows (32bit/64bit):
  RPG2000 (JP):
    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\ASCII\RPG2000\
  RPG2003 (JP):
    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Enterbrain\RPG2003\
  RPG2000 (EN):
    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\KADOKAWA\RPG2000\
  RPG2003 (EN):
    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\KADOKAWA\RPG2003\
Windows (32bit):
  RPGXP:
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Enterbrain\RGSS\RTP\
  RPGVX:
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Enterbrain\RGSS2\RTP\
  RPGVXAce:
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Enterbrain\RGSS3\RTP\
Windows (64bit):
  RPGXP:
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\Enterbrain\RGSS\RTP\
  RPGVX:
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\Enterbrain\RGSS2\RTP\
  RPGVXAce:
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\Enterbrain\RGSS3\RTP\

On the right, a path string will appear telling you where your RTP is located. In case of RPG2000/RPG2003, there is a long list of entries, look for "RunTimePackagePath".

A surprising number of plugins have appeared for MZ since last year. I'm currently making a "shopping list" so that I'll know what I need to test when I switch over to MZ later this year. Much of it is stuff updated from MV plugins, but there are also a good number of new things. It'll be fun to test it all out.
A little dental dilemma this week. One my temp crowns was sized incorrectly and needs some sanding. And dentist was out till Tuesday. Pain is minimal though. Hope everyone here is well. :)

The theory has been proved. Based on an invisible image's data(the big red dot in the previous image), RM can identify different parts of an enemy and do something respectively. :kaojoy:
