MKR_ShopItemMessage - 1.0.0 2018/12/03

Creator name: Mankind
Edited for integration with NPCDialogueShop: mjshi

Overview
Shop Item Message/ Item commentary for NPC shopkeeper

Installation: Place below NPCDialogueShop

Features:
When buying in the shop, the text in the note box is shown instead
of the original item description that's displayed in the help window.

Notebox:
<shop_mes: Shop Text>
- Item description to show by default in the shop

<shop_mes#: Specific text>
- Item description to show for a specific NPC shopkeeper index.
- example:

<shop_mes2: This was dug straight out of the mines!
You interested?>

would show:

This was dug straight out of the mines!
You interested?

instead of the item's default description for the NPC at index 2.

So am I understanding this correctly, using this plugin I could have each shopkeeper say something different about the same item in the shop inventory?

@Guardinthena Yes, that's correct. Each shopkeeper could say something different about the same item in the shop inventory. As long there's a tag with a description inside item's Note box.

For example, Potion-

<shop_mes1: Is a magical medicine, drug in liquid form.>
<shop_mes2: It is used for various motives including the healing, bewitching or poisoning of people.>

That is a neat little plugin! I may have to revisit this after I've done more world building on my current project. Still in the process of hand drawing and stitching the main market together so it will be awhile yet.

RMMV
it works smoothly if you use BO_Shop plugin, but require NPCDialogShop plugin to work. While i cant use it atm,
I keep an eye out just in case i making a shop.

The only thing it might be missing it the shop_mes_so (stock out message) so it can have that option if the shop has limited stock.
otherwise, keep on going.

This is so cool! :D I wish there was a script for VX Ace that let you do this. Does anyone know any? :(

I always see a few people asking for C# in next engine and I always thought: Do I not know enough about that language to tell it will affect extensibility and customizability to the negative? Watching a video from SumRndmDde today I feel confirmed.
