Hey guys,

I've had an idea for this battle system for a while in my head and I need your advise. I wanna create a battle system which takes the grid movement element from MMBN.

So the system works like this:

You control your character moving on your side of the grid to dodge attacks from the enemy to survive. This will use the regular arrow keys. While that is happening, the battle system will prompt a maths equation i.e. 2+2 with 4 choices for the player to answer. The four choices for answers to the equation will be assigned to four buttons (A,S,D,W). i.e. While dodging attacks there will be a prompt for an equation like 2+2 and a choice will be given on screen showing the options assign to A, S, D, W. In this example A = 1, S = 6, W= 4 and D =2; the player would press W, then an animation would happen to reduce the enemy's health.

Grid Movement from MMBN:

i first want to start off with the grid system, dodging enemy's attacks and then go into the maths input system with the ASWD keys

any ideas on scripts to use or can this be evented. What would be the easiest approach?

Thanks in advanced

Back in action to develop the indie game that has been long overdue... Final Fallacy. A game that keeps on giving! The development never ends as the developer thinks to be the smart cookie by coming back and beginning by saying... "Oh bother, this indie game has been long overdue..." How could one resist such? So I was playing with filters and this looked interesting...

Versus the normal look...

Kind of gives a very different feel. :LZSexcite:
To whom ever person or persons who re-did the DS/DS+ asset packs for MV (as in, they are all 48x48, and not just x2 the pixel scale) .... THANK-YOU!!!!!!!!! XwwwwX
