With programming, a lot of the price depends on the details - and you don't give much details for us to even start assuming the costs.

For example "simple rotating left and right":

There is nothing "simple" in rotating.

Base RM knows only four directions and if you use that, you rotate only by 90°.

It's difficult to tell from the video above, but I think that uses rotation in something like 15°-steps, which would require 16 directions.

However, a lot of modern 3D-Games use 1° steps these days for "true" 360°-turning.

The cost in programming will depend on which turn modes you want - it would be rather cheap if you stick with 4-directions, but that would make a very bad racing game.

Creating an RM-Script that allows for flawless 360° turning and mode-7- graphics will probably require a lot of work, estimated several hundreds or a few thousands dollars - and that doesn't yet include any graphics.

So you need to provide more details like these before anyone can give you an estimate.

Another point: there have been several topics on this forum on successfull Kickstarter Campaigns, and I suggest that you read them before continuing. ALL successfull Kickstarters require that you already have something to show before asking for the money - if you don't have anything to show but are just promising to work with the money you get from kickstarter, your chances are rather bad. Your best Chances for Kickstarter (in my opinion) are if your game is at least 50% complete before you ask for money to make the rest of the game.

so hopefully tomorrow i get to go home from the hospital i've been here for 5 days already and it's driving me mad. I miss my family like crazy but at least I get to use my own toiletries and my own clothes. My mom is coming to visit soon i can't wait to see her cause i miss her the most. :kaojoy:
Couple hours of work. Might use in my game as a secret find or something. Not sure. Fancy though no? :D
Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
