Modern Day Tileset being a pain

First post here, gonna make this quick.

Can someone post a screenshot of the Tileset menu with which graphics should be set to which parts? I've been trying to get it to work for ages.

I went through all of the importing guides, but when I use the tiles ingame, not all of the ones shown in the previews can be used. I tried swapping them around but I can't use most of it. I only got the game today and I've been playing around with it and the default tilesets work fine.

If some parts of the tilesheets vanish from the display, then that tiles are placed in A#-slots.

Only tilesheets intended for those slots might be placed there (usually indicated in the filename by A1, A2, A3 and so on). in those cases it's correct that part of the picture vanishes - that is neccessary for the functions of those autotiles.

All tilesheets that are not autotiles (and usually have no A# in their filenames) have to be used in the B to E slots to function correctly.

I don't own the modern tileset, but usually the filename of the picture tells you in which A# slot to place it - and if it isn't for an A-Slot, then it doesn't matter which of the other slots it goes in.
If the filename gives no indication, go to the help file tileset definition - it has examples of how the different A-Sheets have to look - and that can't be mixed up, because autotiles have a very special format that takes up 6 entire tile positions in a very specific and unique way. If you don't have such an autotile sequence in the tilesheet, then it's safe to place it into B to E slots.

As you can see in the picture below, the A2 and A3 tilesets are not completely filled with tiles, so do not be alarmed that you see the checkerboard there. This allows you to add in other modern-compatible RTP tiles or other tiles of your choice.
