Hi, a simple question guys... how can i change a simple tilsets, to make sure that MV read it? example:

The 1 Is the first part and 2 is the second, Rpg maker editor read it from up to down, like the second part is UNDER the first. How can i extend it? maybe i must create a third part? and rpg maker continue to read it? (extend the width)

Thank you :)

you cannot.

All sheets used for Tilesets (there are six different formats) have a fixed size and cannot be expanded and still be used in the editor.

If you want a different combination of tiles, you can use GIMP or Photoshop or similiar programs to exchange some of the tiles in a tilesheet, but you cannot add to them.

And usually that is not needed anyway, because you rarely use more tiles in a single map - and you can make different tilesets for different maps.

Oh... i understand... so, the simply solution is to create more tiles (and, for a map in particular that you want modify something, create another tileset that contains THAT modified tile, right? Such as Dungeon_B

yes, just make sure that the different formats are kept - a tilesheet formatted for A3 will not work if placed in the slot for A1 for example

Though if you need help with editing tile sets to mix match parts, I am sure people would be willing to help. Feel free to ask if it is needed and I can give it a shot.

That would be a request for the Resource Requests forum, not for here ;)

Though it's really not difficult to move things around.  Just make sure your graphics program allows transparent backgrounds (so not MS Paint), and it helps if you can set up a 64x64 grid to see where things are going.
