Hi game makers!

I'm using moghunters chrono engine ABS. I got a sort of puzzle game where I need to count the enemies I kill and when I get to a specific number of kills something happens. However, I'm kinda lost on how to do it.

I tried during it using variables and then a conditional branch but it won't work for me, probably because the way the abs works.

Anyone who can help me out?

you can use variables +1 kill on dead, and on the door if its >= x
or activate the door part if variable = 5 or bigger in order to open it.

you dont need a conditional brance specifically unless thre is more to it
that meets the eye of the mechanic you want to achieve.

like, you have 5 monsters, when dead variable +1, if they have a respawn, -1
so you have a time limit that they need to be dead entirely.

on the door, you can interact.

Page 1:
door is locked, find a way to open it! (your choice of text)

Page 2, condition variable = 5 (example) do this under switches
same image as page 1, but you can now interact with it or autorun it
to open SS A ON, and page 3 blank.

while this is basic, you can do it with a conditinal branch too.

if: variable 4 >= 5
the door is unlocked
SS A is ON
else
the door is locked
end

this is also basic setting, so I dont know how you set it up in your event.

I have an idea, I am making low polygon 3D resources for a package in itch. but it occurred to me that I could export these as images and make MV / MZ compatible tilesets. What do you think of this?
I hate seeing threads where less-experienced user's ask for an opinion of their project, and the thread is full of negative feedback by others who are clearly not the target audience. I feel bad for the OP, and I hope they understand that no game can appeal to everyone. :frown:
