Hey, so I did a search before making this post...but has anyone successfully used Moghunter's LMBS battle system for their game?
I play a lot of RPG games, and I've always been more drawn to ABS/Real time battle systems than turn based (because imo it can get a little stale/repetitive after a while...)

So I've been looking at Mog's but I haven't seen anyone actually use it (maybe it's because it would require *a lot!!!* of work!?)

So yeah, does anyone know of an rpg maker game that uses this? Is the battle system really *that* important in a game (considering you could just make the turn based battle system better with custom sprites/etc).

I think I haven't found it. xD

About your concern on battle system...
It depends on the game focus, imo.

Games with big focus on battle need to have fancy, or at least fun battle system.
If the game is focused on story or puzzles, battle won't be that important.
It's even okay if the game have no battle at all. (when the game focuses on something else)
Because sometimes battle can be an annoying distractions if the game focuses on something else.

It all comes down to your overall game design.
Fancy battle system might be a plus for your game, but it's not a necessity. :)

Couple hours of work. Might use in my game as a secret find or something. Not sure. Fancy though no? :D
Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
Do you Find Tilesetting or Looking for Tilesets/Plugins more fun? Personally I like making my tileset for my Game (Cretaceous Park TM) xD
How many parameters is 'too many'??
