This is the core of Monster Capture and is the basis of many add-on scripts (free and premium).

This script allows you to create capture items to capture enemies in addition to having said capture items having their own item effects. Captured enemies go to reserve box if the player's active combat party is full.

Allows for using a non-battler player and having a player status scene.

Added the battle core add-on which lets you setup 1v1, 2v2, 3v1, 1v3, etc (whatever you can think of) style battles.

Has an actor swapping which sets actors to guard if turn skip is enabled.

Any bugs, please let me know but I won't have access to my laptop for a few days.

When you load the monster core you can find the requirements there but just to clarify, I'm fine with anyone using it for whatever so as long as they do not use it to steal assets or alongside stolen assets from un-owned IPs like pokemon or digimon.

I'll post the terms of use on the site in a bit. Doing this via mobile so it'll be a challenge

But when I want to try your demo my rpg maker tells me "Bad Rpg Maker Mz version".
I don´t understand.

Hi. I've already done it.
I have tried versions 1.2.0, 1.3.3 but it always gives me the same error.

I don't have access to my laptop right now but there is a chkUtils function call you can disable as a temporary fix. Ill update the core on Monday to fix this when I regain access.

Several updates made:
Beastiary:
- Allows modification of how to display actors
- Allows for name ignoring

Evolution:
- Item requirement, can hide text

Core:
- v1.6 required for premium plugin skill construct
- Accurate targeting of game party actor

Bugs detected:
- Battle ends when actor dies even when there are other party members available.
- Profile text may run outside the window. (issue with drawTextEx not recognizing the width argument)

To be added:
- Front View Sprites (Separate free add-on plugin)
- Battle Core modifications (Enemies with class parameters and levels)

Battle Core Updated, Enemies now have levels.
You can limit levels by map by using notetags (Tags in help area)
Enemies now use skills from class data (Control skills used by setting up tags.

<critHp> tag determines the decreasing point at which HP Recovery type skills are used.

<critMp> tag determines the decreasing point at which MP Recovery type skills are used.

<critTp> tag determines the increasing point at which Damage Type None type skills are used.

Skill construct has been updated to allow for banning useable tags by actor and by skill. Pricing of skill construct will be updated when tutorial video is released.

EDIT: For levels and class skills, you must define a <captureActor> tag on the enemy. Still have to fix the battle end bug when single actor dies.

There is but not as up to date. I'll probably have to scrap and re-do the whole thing. The code needs... reworks. You can find the link to it at the bottom of the page.

Had to clean up disk space because Windows Updates was having my primaries' disk space for breakfast, lunch and dinner. I guess the clean up thingy doesn't work or something because there were 15gigs of old update files in it.
