I have been working on my first RPG Maker game for the past few months, called Monster Garden.

Concept: Meeting scary monsters in scary places and turning them into friendly monster friends in your very own Monster Garden that slowly gets bigger and better as you advance.

Characters: I'm planning to have a bunch of monster characters, as seen below.

Status: I've only just finished the first area (the garden), but from there you will be able to go to various scary destinations and expand your garden (see below).

Please let me know what you think about the style. I want it to feel fresh and original. I got inspired by Earthbound and Paladin's Quest / Lennus to make something simple and colorful, imaginative and slightly creepy.

Like the bizzare art style, for whatever reason its got the surreal look of things like that megaman sprite game.

Thanks! I'm not sure of the megaman sprite game you mean...What is it called? I should have a lot more progress by the end of this month, though!

Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
Do you Find Tilesetting or Looking for Tilesets/Plugins more fun? Personally I like making my tileset for my Game (Cretaceous Park TM) xD
How many parameters is 'too many'??
Yay, now back in action Happy Christmas time, coming back!

Back in action to develop the indie game that has been long overdue... Final Fallacy. A game that keeps on giving! The development never ends as the developer thinks to be the smart cookie by coming back and beginning by saying... "Oh bother, this indie game has been long overdue..." How could one resist such? No-one c
