I hope you were able to enjoy your time with loved ones and good food with great gifts/parties.

I’ve been spending the last month or so spreading the word of this great game. The Monstructs FB page has grown (there’s even a community, now), a promotional Youtube Channel: Channel Link and I’ve made promotion materials like PC Backgrounds and Screensavers, which are conveniently found here!

The Gamejolt profile was also updated with a downloadable version of the Alpha (so now, you have MORE pleases to get it)! I’m waiting for some more feedback from some letsplayers, so I can make a Presskit Page for the site.

Good news is I’m back to the grind and tearing thru the map work for the BETA (DUE: Q2 2018) It’s been a slow start with thing going on around here, but progress has been made and I’m running a Tutorial series on the game’s youtube channel (found HERE). Hope you look forward to it!

I know it's has been a really long time since my last post. It's been a crazy few months with illness and money issues. Plus the winter has been a real doozy up here in the mountains! I hope you've all been well.

Wow, I'm genuinely curious what all those events are used for... But the maps look great with plenty of places to explore. A little more B tile wouldn't hurt, although I know that's tedious to do for huge maps.

And I don't know much about RGSS in XP, but there is a fantastic guide for learning RGSS3 if you ever have the desire to switch over to Ace:

I thank you for the kind words. I may use VXAce for my next project. I don't believe XP has a "B" tile, but i'll see if there's an equivalent. Thanks again and hit up the Discord if you want to hit with development.

"B tile" is just the term I use for non-autotiles, such as trees, shrubs, rubble, etc. In VX/Ace all ground tiles are categorized under tab "A" where B-E are all the other little things.

Ahhh... Yeah I'm thinking of adding in more in just the right places and I'm sure the In-game will look nice, with the right eventing.

I know it's been like a MILLENNIUM since my last post, but I haven't been idle and I've made more progress towards a BETA release!

I have fixed a possible bug in the Monstruct Making System (no one said anything, but I knew it would be a problem if left unaddressed).

Over the past weekend, I worked and reworked on an major game mechanic for this project; The Job/Mission System. It's a more simplified version as I'm only one guy working on this but it's doing fine.

At first the result was crappy, so I went to work.

I made a new Icon set to work with it...
