Well, I was wondering if there's a script for this scenario?

- When [A] has item [1] Equipped, the skill is available to use.

I've been searching for this and couldn't find anything. .

Thanks!

If you want to do this without scripts, and for weapons at least, here's one tutorial: http://forums.rpgmakerweb.com/index.php?/topic/10235-a-way-to-customize-skill-useconditions-without-scripting/

Formar also has a script that can help out, found on his site here: http://cobbtocs.co.uk/wp/?p=36

(It allows you to have skills while either a weapon or armor are equipped - there is also a system he has to make it permanent, if you choose it to be)
That is awesome, BUT. .

I'm having trouble trying to grasp that script. I mean, where do I put the 'Weapons[1] = [7,8]' thingy? Note? The script itself?

P.S. Thank you very much for replying! >_<

My understanding from watching tutorials on using a battle system script is that the scripts can read off the Notes section, so I would try putting it there and testing it out. I have no idea what I'm talking about though.

They go in the script itself. See where it reads:

  # Add weapon skills in this format

  # Weapons[weapon_id] = [skillid1, skillid2]

  Weapons[1] = [8]

^ Underneath what I underlined is where you would put more, just as the format tells you. Just make a new line.

ALTERNATIVELY, you can just have a weapon/armor/accessory add a skill via the features. In the features tab, just right-click and look under "Skill". Completely forgot about when the weapon/armor/accessory are unequipped, and it had "Add Skill x", the skill is no longer available. Brain fart, sorry. x.x

so hopefully tomorrow i get to go home from the hospital i've been here for 5 days already and it's driving me mad. I miss my family like crazy but at least I get to use my own toiletries and my own clothes. My mom is coming to visit soon i can't wait to see her cause i miss her the most. :kaojoy:
Couple hours of work. Might use in my game as a secret find or something. Not sure. Fancy though no? :D
Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
