Mother 3 visuals help

I'm trying to use this script, but I keep getting an error.

Script 'Mother 3 Visuals' line 888: NoMethodError occured.


undefined method 'width' for nil:NilClass

I'm using a lot of other scripts currently. I'm only getting errors when I try to use this one. The creator says that Ace Battle Engine should be compatible, but I can't get it to work right. I am sure there's an incompatibility somewhere, but I have no scripting knowledge, so it could be anywhere. Is there any way this script could be modified so it stops crashing?
