Hi!, I hope you are well.
First apologies for my English.

Second, I just uploaded a demo to Itch of (as the title says) a kind of suspense horror adventure game (the "classic horror game in RPGMaker!").

The demo is short, because I want to see if there is some kind of feedback, to see if I can change in the finished (or advanced) version.

I have a problem that I like the renders or the dark scenes, and my monitor despite lowering the brightness, it seems that I see them well, but in another device they look dark too.

We know that the English is not going to be good, but I would like to know if it is "safable".

It is also my first time doing something with RPG Maker, so I may be making beginner mistakes.

In Mother Of Sorrows, you will play Logan, a sailor who is locked in his cabin (treacherously), by order of his captain in the middle of a storm in the sea called "Celestial Prison" of the "Blind Side Island".

When it seemed that all was lost, you wake up in a lonely and battered inn.

I went for a quick run. I couldn’t figure out how to get further than the street, although I found the key there and tried all the doors :kaodes:

  • The controls were not very intuitive for me (cancel by space, esc more familiar). I would also like to add the ability to move with arrows, and not just wasd
  • Piccon is a scary dog as described in the corridor. It's like he'll eat you if you feed him the wrong thing, and then it turns out he rip (
  • For some reason, when entering the right room from the cabin where character appeared, we exit the 3rd door, which is generally locked (where the hanged man is)
  • Not all boxes can be checked (I want to check everything
  • The rat misses so often. I am terrified :kaoback:
  • Sometimes when he talks about how disgusting he is (a corpse in a closed room) he has such a satisfied face xD
  • I'm attaching visual bugs that I noticed for u

I was notified about the "crazy door" so I fixed it, but not the others so I will be looking at what you showed me.

The Piccon Quest and the meat is certainly confusing, I've seen that several people have gotten confused with that, that's something I'm looking into to reshape the quest.

The arrows thing, I entered Javascript with a tutorial and modified from there, I put it all "by hand"; but it is true that if you are a RPGMaker user, it may be difficult or unintuitive, I don't know if I can add the arrows besides WASD.

Well, there are many famous horror games on the RPG maker that have no combat system at all If you don’t know these masterpieces, you can check out: Mad Father, Ib.

For me these games are the ideal of horror. In them opponents deal damage to you from a normal touch.

Thanks for the recommendations, I will watch them this weekend to get a better idea about the combat theme.

What does this plugin allow?

Basically it allows you to create switches that work even though the game is closed.

Example of use:

You can make a system that you can only run a mini game once a day (or an event or whatever you want) and you have to wait 24 hours to play again.
