So I noticed another issue. Two of them to be exact.

Whenever my character moves I notice slight motion blur which can cause strain on the eyes. Is there any possible way to remove the blur?

Also I notice screen tearing while the character is moving. Is it related to the above somehow?

Is there a script that would force Vsync in the game?

Playtest your game.

Press F1

Check Reduce flicker.
Thanks. Will this option be on by default for anyone who plays the game now that I have enabled it?

Are you sure about that?

Just because YOU set your F1 settings to something, doesn't mean people who play your game will have them set the same way. They will be able to hit F1 to change their own settings, but I'm not certain that, by default, they will be what YOU set them to when the game is on someone else's computer.

Just to make sure there is no misunderstanding.

The ABILITY TO PRESS F1 is a feature of VX Ace.

Every game I played, can in play detect F1 press by default except if someone uses a script to block this feature (ususally they do this to disable F12 though).

What is set, on the dialog box by default is another thing.

Sorry if that wasn't clear. When I replied I assumed that the OPTION is the option to press F1. Not the setting.

If I have to I will include details about that in my game's readme file or see if there is a way I can disable F1 (and F12)  and force the option to on.

I ran a few games and turned off the option in one and it seemed to affect the others.

Yes, I think StarWarrior00 was asking if he checks the Reduce Flicker option, will it also be checked for everyone who plays his game. The answer, I believe, is no - unless it is checked by default. It's computer-specific, which means if the player has several games and that option is unchecked, it will also be unchecked when they play his game.

I already confirmed this earlier. If you uncheck it in another VX Ace game it will be unchecked for all of them. So I need to find a way to force the option on.

If they have other games that don't have it locked, they can uncheck it in those, and then it'll be unchecked in yours. The settings are shared between all RM games.

It might be easier/better to include instruction in a text file (or in a Help option in the game) telling the player what to do if the same thing happens to them. It might be based on system specs, so maybe most people won't even experience it, and in that case (well, in ANY case really) I'm not sure it's a good idea to stop the player being able to use F1 - that allows them to remap keys if they want to, for example, and they wouldn't be able to do that anymore.

I have Yanfly's system options  script installed. So If I wanted to give users the option to change resolution or change key binds then couldn't I just simply add the option in there?

Actually, you know what? Screw it. I'll just put this information in a readme.

Couple hours of work. Might use in my game as a secret find or something. Not sure. Fancy though no? :D
Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
Do you Find Tilesetting or Looking for Tilesets/Plugins more fun? Personally I like making my tileset for my Game (Cretaceous Park TM) xD
