Hello,

In MV: Why NWJS (game.exe) doesn't support mouse navigation buttons (3 and 4)?

I tested same MV project in my own browser and buttons were working just fine.

I was thinking to ask this in case I'm missing something obvious. But I assume it's NWJS version issue cause in MZ those buttons does work and both MV and MZ are working in Chrome/Edge/Firefox for example.

Can someone confirm or straighten this assumption?

Edit: I just downloaded NWJS 0.49.2 and everything works there just fine

what are buttons 3 and 4? and I mostly know if it has 3, its either
the left, right, wheel that can also click for something.

if you mean the side one, as 3 and 4, some has 4 buttons there, so it
would be hard to know which 3, 4 buttons you mean.

the base one with 2 on the side as forward, backward, I didn't use them
in games, and almost never use them to navigate through the web.

not sure either on the software used for the mouse per company?

Hi and thanks for the reply,

I was planning to bind buttons 4 and 5 for "Toggle actors" feature used in one of my plugins.
And using mouse wheel up/down to toggle map items (won't be released in while, but making small progress each day).

EDIT: In JS button numbers below are [number] - 1 (starting from 0)

In my mouse these are the mouse buttons I mentioned.
1 = Primary button
2 = Auxiliary button (middle button)
3 = Secondary button
4 = Fourth button, typically the Browser Back button, but in this case I'll use it for other purposes
5 = Fifth button, typically the Browser Forward button, but in this case I'll use it for other purposes

I was just too curious, so I tried to solve the problem by roughly writing the specifications of the RPG Maker style system (like a programming language).

I can able to see that ChatGPT-3 understands the problem well and proposes a solution according to the specifications I defined.

Adobe Premiere just crashed so hard it broke my GPU drivers sending me on a DDU quest. Why does this company with it's awful software subscription model and bloated software still dominate the industry? :rolleyes: Can we collectively agree to not support this company any more?
Stage 1 Card.png
struture-wise, my game operates more like a beat 'em up than an rpg. so each area of the city you run around in counts as a stage when you first get there. A silhouette of the boss/bosses will be in these stage intro pics, along with the stage name.
I still do this kinda stuff and I think this came out really, really well. Solo violin really helps this piece shine.
